Official Divergent SMP Server Application Instructions

Key Guidelines:

  1. One Application Per Period: Applicants are allowed only one application during each application cycle.

  2. Membership Requirement: You must have been a member of our Discord server for at least one month before applying.

  3. Communication Rules: Refrain from discussing your application with staff members or asking others to review your application. Doing so will result in automatic denial.

  4. Decision Timeline: Application decisions may take up to three days to process.

The application includes six sections. All sections must be completed with as much detail as possible.

We are the Official Divergent Team, creators of a small, whitelisted Survival Multiplayer (SMP) server dedicated to building a close-knit and active Minecraft community. Our server is designed for players who share a passion for Minecraft and enjoy forming bonds with like-minded individuals.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Active Minecraft (Java Edition) Account: Cracked versions are not permitted.

  • Active Discord Account

  • Age: Applicants must be at least 13 years old.

  • Application Completion: The application must be filled out in full detail.

  • Community Engagement: A member’s willingness to engage with others is essential. Interactions with fellow members help cultivate the supportive and dynamic atmosphere we strive for. We value kindness, tolerance, and inclusivity—you will encounter individuals with diverse backgrounds, and respecting these differences is imperative.

  • Creativity and Regular Gameplay: Creativity extends beyond architectural skills. Whether it’s designing games, role-playing, or creating fun server-wide events, your ideas can enhance the experience for everyone. Consistency in participation ensures the continuity and growth of our community. While there is no fixed time commitment, please apply only if you can remain active and dedicated long-term.

How to Confirm Understanding:

To confirm that you have thoroughly read and understood these expectations, type the phrase "I have completed the form" in the "Do you have any questions for us?" section along with any questions you may have.

Final Notes:

  • Proof of Experience: If you claim any experience in specific areas, be ready to provide examples or evidence upon request.

  • Patience with Responses: Due to the volume of applications, please allow time for our team to review your submission. Accepted applicants will receive a Discord friend request from "official divergent". Ensure you accept promptly, as your spot may be reassigned if delayed.
